VR Food Equipment, Inc., was established in 1987 by Steve Von Rhedey to meet the food processing needs of fruit and vegetable processors across the USA. The company has seen rapid growth over the years and has become a leading supplier in the food processing industry.

For over 30 years VR Food Equipment has partnered with the very best European manufacterers of food processing equipment to serve the needs of North American fruit and vegetable processors. Our expertise, service, and support distinguish our company as we strive to offer the highest quality manufactured processing solutions to our customers. VR Food Equipment is located in Farmington, NY, a town nestled near Canandaigua Lake in upstate NY. We offer a R&D pilot plant facility for product testing, custom design, and maintaining inventory.

Bertocchi

VR Food Equipment is the exclusive North American distributor for the Bertocchi line of hot/cold/frozen turbo extractors and complete systems for the production of purees, juices, concentrates, pastes, and more. Our focus is on helping fruit and vegetable processors produce the very highest quality purees at the highest levels of efficiency and waste reduction. Since 1984, Bertocchi systems have designed and produced innovative technology for puree production. From updating the process of Hot Turbo Extraction in the 1980’s , launching a line of Cold Turbo Extractors with a Rotopulse pretreatments system in the 1990’s, and combing Cold Extraction with Cold Deaeration and an enzymatic deactivation process, Bertocchi continues to innovate and design systems that exceed customer expectations. Alfa-Laval – Asteppo has 30 years of experience in aseptic and non-aseptic filling and processing solutions. Having delivered more than 1,000 projects based on filling requirements worldwide, particular attention has been dedicated to filling procedures where the extraction of air inside bags and flush of nitrogen after filling is a must. VR Food Equipment has supported and sold Alfa-Laval – Asteppo solutions in North American for over 3 decades.
