Aspirix AI Sorter

Advanced Suction Sorter with 1 or 4 Vision Systems for Tomato and Fruit Processing (Pulps, Dices, Extrusions, and Compotes)

The AspirX optical sorter from Protec Sorting Equipment is the advanced successor to the renowned Lince 9096. Designed for the rigorous demands of tomato and fruit processing, it excels at inspecting pulp, dicing, and extrusions. Utilizing a high-accuracy camera system and an exclusive suction rejection mechanism, the AspirX effectively identifies and removes critical defects—including off-color, rot, and dark discoloration—with unmatched efficiency. The range offers scalable solutions with production capacities ranging from 5 to 20 tons per hour.

DIMENSIONS (L x H x W) CAPACITY BELT WIDTH READING

This sorter utilizes a high-speed, high-resolution camera system to inspect products on the conveyor belt. Powered by a proprietary Protec electronic card and advanced image-processing software, the system identifies defects as small as 0.5 x 0.5 mm. A dedicated touchscreen interface allows operators to monitor critical functions—including reject counts, air pressure, water temperature, and motor status—in both manual and automatic modes.

Two rows of hollow cylinders suction unfit products, ensuring 100% belt coverage. For pulp sorting, the AspirX (T) and (F) series utilize a small-diameter suction system to minimize the loss of good product. Conversely, the (DT) and (PF) series feature wider ejectors specifically designed for diced products.

The system collects suctioned waste in a dedicated tank designed for thorough sanitation. All contact surfaces—including the tank, tubes, and ejectors—support high- and low-temperature washing. To manage high rejection rates or heavy defect loads, the machine utilizes high-performance liquid-ring vacuum pumps.

Protec offers specialized suction solutions to maximize yield: the AspirX (T) or (F) series features a small-diameter system to minimize good product loss, while the (DT) and (PF) series utilize wider ejectors optimized for diced products. On the conveyor, an advanced Protec electronic card and powerful image processing software detect defects as small as 0.5 x 0.5 mm. Operators can monitor and control all critical functions—such as reject volume, air pressure, water temperature, and motor activation—via a touchscreen PC interface in either automatic or manual modes.
